FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is DateReminder free?
Yes. No ads, no payments, and we never sell your data.
How do the reminders work?
On the day, we remind you every hour from 8am to 10pm in your timezone — by email, on Telegram, or both — until you close the reminder.
How do I stop the reminders for a day?
Click the “Mark as done” link in any reminder email or Telegram message — that day’s reminders stop right away.
Can I get reminders on Telegram?
Yes. In your profile settings, click “Connect Telegram” — the link opens a chat with our bot; tap “Start” there and the accounts are linked. Then enable the Telegram channel in the “Notification channels” section. You can use Telegram alongside email or instead of it.
Telegram reminders stopped arriving — how do I restore them?
This usually means the bot was blocked in Telegram. When that happens we turn the Telegram channel off and fall back to email so you don’t miss anything. To restore it: open Telegram, unblock the bot (chat settings → Unblock), then go to your profile settings and re-enable the Telegram channel. The “Send test message” button lets you check it works.
Do I have to enter a year?
No. The year is optional — add it only if you want the email to count the anniversary (for example “25th”).
What languages does DateReminder support?
Polish and English. You can switch anytime, and reminder emails arrive in your chosen language.
Is my data safe?
We use your data only to send your reminders and never sell it. See the Privacy Policy for details. Read the Privacy Policy
